Edwards (Custom Made)
A fully custom line of hand made instruments built for the top professional players around the world. These instruments come with hundreds of options from which to choose from, such as bell shapes materials, bore sizes, leadpipes and on and on. A player can literally put together their own unique sounding instrument. You can't buy Edwards in any store and we can't sell you one. You must go directly to the factory and design your instrument with the Getzen Custom Shop team. This series was created by the development team of the Getzen Pro Shop. Largely hand made, these instruments exemplify the pinnacle of Getzen craftsmanship. Designed to be the best brass instruments in the world these are actually the same as the fully custom made Edwards instruments, but without the options. Getzen took the most common Edwards options and incorporated them into their Custom Series line. If you want an Edwards, but do not need the different options, do not want to travel to the factory, do not want the long waiting period and do not want the high price tag, then this is the instrument for you. 300 Series (Advanced Student)
These are the entry level instruments of the Getzen line, used by generations of beginning brass players. Although these instruments are "entry level" in the Getzen line, they are truly more than just "student" instruments. The 300 Series feature nickel-silver mouthpipes that prevent corrosion, nickel-silver inside slide tubes to prevent stuck tuning l\slides, and fast nickel plated valves with a lifetime guaranty.
The 300 Series trombone has durable chrome-plated, nickel silver inner slides that are barrel-tapered for fast action and a tight easy-blowing outside slide seal. The outer handslide of the 351 trombone is lightweight, hard, durable drawn nickel-silver for h\fast action and resistance to dents. The 300 series bells are still handspun with wire reinforced rims, a method used in the manufacture of Getzen professional trumpet and trombone bells.
